Hello Salem Heights families,
This coming Monday, November 23rd, we will be having another distribution day. Teachers from every class have put together bags filled with necessary classwork for the next few month, including worksheets, books, and music kits. We will have staff available to meet you at the front door from 9am to 7pm. For this event you do not need an appointment and we are not assigning pick up times, but we do ask that you remember to wear your mask and practice social distancing if there is line when you arrive.
Please return any library books your student has out from last year. If you are unsure whether your student still has books checked out, or what the title is, please email our librarian Sarah Young at young_sarah@salkeiz.k12.or.us
With the exception of Kindergarten, each teacher has classroom books that we need returned when you come to pick up your new items:
Mrs. Casian’s Kindergarten: There are no books that you need to bring back at this time.
Mrs. Pfau’s 1st Grade: Please bring back “Text Collection”, and any library books.
Mrs. Myers’ 1st/2nd Grade: Please bring back “Text Collection”, and any library books.
Mrs. Rincon’s 2nd Grade: Please bring back “Friends Around the World”, “Trouble in the Sandbox”, and any library books.
Mrs. Lysne’s 3rd Grade: Please bring back “The Case of the Gasping Garbage” and any library books.
Mrs. Aguirre’s 3rd/4th Grade: Please bring back “Porpoises in Peril” and any library books.
Mrs. Hill’s 4th Grade: Please bring back “Porpoises in Peril” and any library books.
Mrs. Berg’s 5th Grade: Please bring back “The Night of the Spadefoot Toads”, “Rainforest Food Chain”, and any library books.
