As we continue making plans to bring students back in-building, there are a few items we would like to share with you in the interest of planning:
This is a good time to make certain you have found a mask that your child is comfortable with. Please consider helping your child build up their mask tolerance by practicing mask-wearing for extended periods of time, in order to make the transition back to school as smooth as possible.
In the past few weeks we put out communication letting you know about our Personal Safety lessons for this year. We had originally anticipated completing these lessons during distance learning, but since we hope to bring students back in-building soon, we will be delaying Personal Safety lessons until Spring. More information to come as our schedule for the next few months becomes more certain.
And last, we wanted to give our families advanced notice that once students do return, physical distancing and new COVID safety protocols mean that our daily dismissal process will be considerably longer than in the past. We will appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to provide a safe environment for our students. In the coming weeks we will send more information about exactly how this will look.
